Verse 1
Victory, victory, victory to Ganapati, the king of the Ganas.

Whose auspicious form brings good fortune to all endeavors.

Victory to Ganapati, the abode of all virtues.

I bow to the ocean of accomplishments.

He who has one tusk and four arms.
Verse 6
How beautiful is the vermilion mark on his forehead.

His nose is long, and his tusks are beautiful.

He protects his devotees day and night.

In his left hand, he holds a modak (sweet dumpling).
