एक समय गिरिराज कुमारी। पुत्र हेतु तप कीन्हा भारी॥

भयो यज्ञ जब पूर्ण अनूपा। तब प्रगट्यो तुम चारि स्वरूप॥

भुजा चारि अति सुंदर सोहे। सब भुवन को मन अति मोहे॥

तुम सब के प्रिय अति सुखदाता। नाम तुम्हारो मंगल दाता॥

शंभु पुत्र तुम सब जग पूजे। तुम विघ्न हर्ता सब जग पूजे॥

नारद शारद सहित भवानी। तुमको ध्यावें सकल भवानी॥

सुर नर मुनि सब होत प्रसन्न। तुम्हारो सुमिरन करत प्रसन्न॥

जो जन सुमिरन करत तुम्हारा। विघ्न दूर हो सकल हमारा॥

अंधे को आँख देत हो तुमहीं। कोढ़ी को काया देत हो तुमहीं॥
20
बाँझन को पुत्र देत हो तुमहीं। निर्धन को धन देत हो तुमहीं॥

काटो पंख कटे को काया। जो दुःख हरता सुख की माया॥

दीन हीन निज जन के त्राता। करहु कृपा भव सिंधु के दाता॥

गणपति नाम तुम्हारो प्यारा। तुमहीं सब के प्राण अधारा॥

प्रथम पूज्य तुम सब देवन के। तुमहीं पालक सब जीवन के॥

मूषक वाहन सोहत आवें। रिद्धि सिद्धि तव चँवर डुलावें॥

Verse 1
Hail Ganapati, abode of virtues, with a gracious face. Remover of obstacles, bestower of auspiciousness, victory, victory to the Son of Girija (Parvati)!
Verse 2
Victory, victory, victory to King Ganapati! You fill with auspiciousness and perform good deeds.
Verse 3
Hail to the elephant-faced one, giver of happiness. The Lord of the universe, dispenser of wisdom.
Verse 4
With a curved trunk, pure and pleasing, and a three-lined tilak on your forehead, you captivate the mind.
Verse 5
Adorned with a garland of gems and pearls on your chest, and a very large golden crown on your head.
Verse 6
Holding a book, axe, and trident in your hands. Offered modak and fragrant flowers.
Verse 7
Your body is adorned with beautiful yellow garments. Your sandals illuminate the minds of sages.
Verse 8
Blessed Son of Shiva, brother of Kartikeya. Beloved of Gauri, renowned throughout the world.
Verse 9
Riddhi and Siddhi (prosperity and accomplishment) wave whisks for you. Your mouse vehicle looks graceful as it approaches.
Verse 10
Let me narrate your auspicious birth story, which is extremely pure, holy, and brings auspiciousness.

Once, the daughter of the mountain king (Parvati) performed severe penance for a son.

When the incomparable sacrifice was completed, then you appeared in four forms.

Your four arms shine beautifully. You captivate the minds of all beings in the universe.

You are beloved by all and an ultimate giver of happiness. Your name bestows auspiciousness.

Narada and Sharada (Saraswati) along with all goddesses, meditate upon you.

Gods, humans, and sages all become pleased. They become delighted upon remembering you.

Whoever remembers you, all their obstacles are removed.

You alone give sight to the blind. You alone give a new body to the leper.

You alone grant a son to the barren. You alone give wealth to the poor.

You restore limbs to the handicapped. You remove sorrows, a magical illusion of happiness.

Savior of the helpless and poor. Bestow your grace, O giver across the ocean of existence.

Your name, Ganapati, is beloved. You are the very life-support of all.

You are the first to be worshipped among all gods. You are the protector of all lives.
