Verse 1
(Doha) Cleaning the mirror of my mind with the dust of the lotus feet of Sri Guru, I now narrate the pure glory of Sri Raghuvir (Lord Rama), which bestows the four fruits of life (Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha).Knowing my body to be devoid of intelligence, I remember you, O Son of Pavan (Hanuman). Grant me strength, wisdom, and knowledge, and remove all my sufferings and imperfections.

Victory to Hanuman, ocean of wisdom and virtues.Victory to the lord of monkeys, who illuminates the three worlds.
Verse 3
You are Rama's messenger, the abode of immeasurable strength.Son of Anjana, known as the son of the Wind-god.
Verse 4
Great hero, valiant one, with a body like Vajra (thunderbolt).Dispeller of evil thoughts, companion of good sense.
Verse 5
Your complexion is golden, adorned with beautiful attire.You wear earrings in your ears, and have curly hair.
Verse 6
A thunderbolt and a flag are in your hands.A sacred thread (Janeu) made of Munja grass adorns your shoulder.

You are an incarnation of Shiva, son of Kesari.Your glory and might are revered throughout the world.

You are learned, virtuous, and extremely clever.Ever eager to perform Lord Rama's tasks.

Assuming a tiny form, you appeared before Sita.Assuming a formidable form, you burned Lanka.

Vibhishana heeded your counsel.And became the king of Lanka, as the whole world knows.

The sun, situated thousands of Yojanas away.You swallowed, thinking it to be a sweet fruit.

With Lord Rama's ring in your mouth.You leapt across the ocean; there is no wonder in this.
Verse 21
All the difficult tasks in the world.Become easy through your grace.
Verse 22
You are the guardian at Rama's door.None can enter without your permission.

All joys are found in taking refuge in you.When you are the protector, what fear can there be?

You alone can control your own splendor.All three worlds tremble at your roar.
