सकल विश्व में तुमहीं बिराजे। तुमहीं शंकर तुमहीं गाजे॥

जरा मरण दुख व्यापै नहिं। जो शिव नाम हृदय में ठहिं॥

भूत प्रेत बाधा सब भागे। जो शिव नाम हृदय में जागे॥

दूर दूर तक यश तुम छाये। सबही जग के तुमहीं सखाये॥

जो नर पूजे शिव को ध्यावे। जन्म जन्म के दुख मिटावे॥

शिव समान दाता नहीं कोई। जो वर माँगे सोई होई॥

जो जन शिव की महिमा गावे। निश्चय ही वह शांति पावे॥

दीन दयालु कृपा के सागर। जो शिव नाम रटै नर नागर॥

Verse 0
O Son of Girija (Parvati) and Ganesha, the auspicious and wise one. Ayodhyadas prays to you, grant the boon of fearlessness.

Hail, O Ganesha, son of Girija, the source of auspiciousness and wisdom. Ayodhyadas requests you to bestow the boon of fearlessness.
Verse 2
Hail, hail, hail to the daughter of the King of Mountains (Parvati)! Hail to the one who gazes at Mahesh's (Shiva's) moon-like face like a chakora bird.
Verse 3
Hail Shiva Shambhu, hail son of Girija! Hail, hail, hail to the one who brings joy to the three worlds.
Verse 4
Clad in the directions (Digambar) or white, wearing yellow garments. Holding a trident and damaru (drum), the bringer of auspiciousness.
Verse 5
Bearing half of Ganga on his broad forehead. With three eyes, a prominent brow, and red earrings.
Verse 6
The blue-throated one, adorned with a garland of snakes. Seshnag's hood as a golden necklace.
Verse 7
Wearing a loincloth, adorned with deer skin. Holding the damaru, trident, and spear, the bringer of good fortune.

A garland of Rudraksha beads graces his chest. Captivating the hearts of all devotees.

Where there is fierce speed, the bearer of three (trident). Adorned with Tripund (three lines on the forehead) and the crescent moon.

Nandi and Ganesha serve Shiva. Brahma and Vishnu also worship the Lord.

No one knows your glory. You alone are the Lord and master of the universe.

You are the protector of devotees. Your name is revered in all three worlds.

Brahma and other deities worship Shiva. All ascetics with matted locks serve Him.

Chaste married women worship you. You wash away sins of millions of births.

You are the giver of all methods (boons). You remove sorrow and poverty, and are the brother of happiness.

You are ageless, immortal, indestructible. You are the perfect supreme Brahman, the renunciate.

Whoever worships you with devotion. Surely attains liberation.

You alone reside in the entire universe. You are Shankar, you are the thunder.

Old age and death's sorrow do not afflict. Those who enshrine Shiva's name in their hearts.

All obstacles from ghosts and evil spirits flee. When Shiva's name awakens in the heart.

Your fame has spread far and wide. You are the helper of everyone in the world.

The person who worships and meditates on Shiva. Eradicates sorrows of many births.

There is no giver like Shiva. Whatever boons are asked, they are granted.
