গণেশঃ শিরঃ পাতু ললাটং সিদ্ধিদায়কঃ। কর্ণৌ শ্রীগণনাথশ্চ চক্ষুর্গণপতেস্তথা।।

নাসিকাং চিন্তিতার্থপ্রদশ্চ পাতু সৰ্ব্বদা। মুখং মায়াভিভূতোঽসৌ জিহ্বাং পাতু সৰ্ব্ববিৎ।।

দন্তৌ শ্রীদেববরদোঽপ্যধরৌ চ বিনায়কঃ। কণ্ঠং গণাধিপঃ পাতু স্কন্ধৌ চ গজকর্ণকঃ।।

ভুজৌ চ সিদ্ধিসেনানীরাপ্তো বক্ষঃস্থলং তথা। হৃদয়ং বিঘ্নরাজশ্চ হস্তৌ সিদ্ধিপ্রদায়কঃ।।

মধ্যং চ বিঘ্নহারী চ নাভিং গণেশ্বরাস্তথা। লিঙ্গং পাতু মহাবুদ্ধির্গুহ্যানি চ পরাৎপরঃ।।

উরূ পাতু গজবক্ত্রশ্চ জানুনী বিঘ্নহা তথা। জঙ্ঘে মহোদরঃ পাতু পাদৌ পাতু মহাবলঃ।।

সর্ব্বাঙ্গং চ সৰ্ব্বদেশং সর্ব্বকালঞ্চ সৰ্ব্ববিৎ। এতম্ গণেশকং বর্ম্ম যঃ পঠেত্ শ্রাদ্ধয়াব্বিতঃ।।

ন তস্য দুষ্প্ৰাপ্যম্ কিঞ্চিৎ ইহলোকে পরত্র চ। ধনপুত্রপ্রদঞ্চৈব সর্ব্বশত্রুবিনাশনম্।।

সিদ্ধিদং বুদ্ধিদঞ্চৈব সর্ব্বসিদ্ধিকরং শুভম্। ব্রহ্মণা কথিতং পূর্ব্বং গণেশস্য মহাত্মনঃ।।

কবচং পরমং গুপ্তং ভক্তানাং হিতকাম্যয়া। ইতি শ্রী ব্রহ্মবৈবর্ত্ত পুরাণে গণেশ কবচং সমাপ্তম।।

Meaning & Translation

Verse 1
Oṃ, I meditate on Ganesha, the lord of ganas, the bestower of success and wisdom. He grants both success and intelligence, and fulfills the desires of his devotees.
Verse 2
May Ganesha protect my head, and the bestower of success my forehead. May the revered Gananatha protect my ears, and Ganapati my eyes.
Verse 3
May the granter of desired objects always protect my nose. May the one who conquers illusion protect my mouth, and the all-knowing protect my tongue.
Verse 4
May the bestower of boons protect my teeth, and Vinayaka my lips. May the chief of ganas protect my throat, and the elephant-eared one my shoulders.
Verse 5
May the chief of the Siddhas protect my arms and chest. May the king of obstacles protect my heart, and the giver of success my hands.
Verse 6
May the remover of obstacles protect my waist, and Ganeshwara my navel. May the greatly wise one protect my private parts, and the Supreme Being my hidden parts.
Verse 7
May the elephant-faced one protect my thighs, and the remover of obstacles my knees. May the big-bellied one protect my shins, and the greatly powerful one my feet.
Verse 8
May the all-knowing one protect all my limbs, all places, and at all times. Whoever recites this Ganesha armor with faith,
Verse 9
Nothing is unattainable for them, neither in this world nor the next. It bestows wealth and progeny, and destroys all enemies.
Verse 10
It grants success and wisdom, and is auspicious, bestowing all siddhis. This armor of the great Ganesha was formerly narrated by Brahma.
Verse 11
This supreme and secret armor is for the welfare of devotees. Thus ends the Ganesha Kavacha from the holy Brahma Vaivarta Purana.
