Verse 1
Om Salutations to Lord Vasudeva. Meditate on Vishnu, who holds the conch, discus, mace, and lotus, who is adorned in yellow garments, and who is seated on the king of serpents (Sheshnaga).
Verse 2
May Vishnu protect me in the East, and Garudadhvaja (He whose banner bears Garuda) in the South. May Hrishikesha protect me in the West, and Shridhara in the North.
Verse 3
May Vasudeva protect me in the Northeast, Vamanadeva in the Southeast. May Padmanabha protect me in the Southwest, and Janardana in the Northwest.
Verse 4
May Keshava protect my head, Narayana my eyes. May Madhava protect my ears, and Govinda my mouth.
Verse 5
May Vishnu protect my throat, Madhusudana my shoulders. May Vamanadeva protect my arms, and Shridhara my heart.
Verse 6
May Padmanabha protect my belly, Damodara my waist. May Trivikrama protect my thighs, and Vasudeva my feet.
Verse 7
From fire, air, and water, from thieves, enemies, and fear. May the Lord protect me from all calamities.

May Chakrapani (Vishnu holding discus) protect me in the morning, Gadadhari (Vishnu holding mace) in the afternoon. May Shankhadhari (Vishnu holding conch) protect me in the evening, and Lakshmipati (husband of Lakshmi) at night.

May Janardana protect me on the path, Shrinivasa in the forest. May Shri Hari be my protector everywhere.
