Verse 1
Salutations to Lord Vasudeva, the divine Personality of Godhead.

May Lord Hari, who took three steps (Vamana), protect my head. May Narasimha, the fierce lion-man, protect my forehead.

May Vishnu, the all-knowing eye, protect my eyes. May Govinda protect my ears (and all my intentions).

May Varaha (the boar incarnation) protect my nose. May Lord Ramachandra, the mighty one, protect my tongue.
