జ్వాలామాలాసహస్రాఢ్యం జ్వాలాకోటివిభూషితమ్|సుదర్శనం చ శత్రూణాం చక్షుస్తాపహరం మమ||

శ్రీ విష్ణుం పరమానందం సర్వపాపప్రణాశనమ్|యః పఠేత్ ప్రాతరుత్థాయ కవచం విష్ణుసంజ్ఞితమ్||

పుత్రపౌత్రైః పరివృతం శతాయుష్య సుఖీ భవేత్|ఆయురారోగ్యమైశ్వర్యం లభతే స విరాజతే||

Meaning & Translation

Verse 1
Om, I bow down to Lord Vasudeva.
Verse 2
O Lord, whose emblem is Garuda, protect me from kings, deities, planets, fear of bloodshed, enemies, and all sins.
Verse 3
May we know Narayana, meditate on Vasudeva, and may Vishnu inspire us.
Verse 4
May Vishnu protect me in the East, Madhusudana in the Southeast. May Garuda-bannered Lord protect me in the South, and Madhusudana in the Southwest.
Verse 5
May Pundarikaksha protect me in the West, Madhusudana in the Northwest. May Sridhara Vishnu protect me in the North, and Madhusudana in the Northeast.
Verse 6
May the Universal Soul protect me above, Vasudeva below. May Vishnu protect me in the middle, and Gadadhara (holder of the mace) on all sides.
Verse 7
May Sriman Keshava protect me internally, externally, and everywhere. May Varaha protect me in water, and Vamana on land.
Verse 8
O Lord, protect me, a moving being, walking on my feet. Protect me from tigers, thieves, snakes, insects, and venomous creatures.
Verse 9
In forests, difficult places, from fire and news of fire, from fear of royal punishment, and from fear of death and disease.
Verse 10
Always, at all times, in all my bodies, O Vishnu, Narayana, Krishna, Lord with the Garuda banner, protect me.

May those with conch, discus, mace, and bow in their hands, clad in yellow garments, dark like a blue lotus, residents of Vaikuntha, always protect me.
Verse 12
May the Sudarshana Chakra, adorned with thousands of fiery garlands and crores of flames, be a tormentor to enemies and remove distress from my eyes.

Whoever recites this Vishnu Kavacham, which destroys all sins and brings supreme bliss of Sri Vishnu, after rising in the morning,

He will be surrounded by sons and grandsons, live for a hundred years, and be happy. He will attain long life, health, and prosperity, and shine brightly.
