Verse 1
Salutations to the adorable Lord Vāsudeva (Vishnu), who is omnipresent and the indweller of all beings.
Verse 2
I salute Vishnu, who is peaceful in form, reposes on the serpent (Shesha), whose navel is a lotus, the Lord of the Devas,

The support of the universe, who is all-pervading like the sky, whose color is like a cloud, whose limbs are auspicious,

The beloved of Lakshmi, whose eyes are like lotuses, who is realized by yogis through meditation,
