Verse 0
Om. I meditate upon Mahakali, who holds in her ten hands a sword, discus, mace, arrows, bow, club, spear, a skull, a conch, and a severed head. She has three eyes, is adorned with all ornaments, and shines with the luster of a blue gem. I worship Mahakali, whom Brahma praised when Vishnu was asleep, to slay the demons Madhu and Kaitabha.
