लम्बोदरं पञ्चमं च षष्ठं विकटमेव च। सप्तमं विघ्नराजेन्द्रं धूम्रवर्णं तथाष्टमम्॥३॥

नवमं भालचन्द्रं च दशमं तु विनायकम्। एकादशं गणपतिं द्वादशं तु गजाननम्॥४॥

द्वादशैतानि नामानि त्रिसन्ध्यं यः पठेन्नरः। न च विघ्नभयं तस्य सर्वसिद्धिकरं परम्॥५॥

विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां धनार्थी लभते धनम्। पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान् मोक्षार्थी लभते गतिम्॥६॥

जपेद्गणपतिस्तोत्रं षड्भिर्मासैः फलम् लभेत्। संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशयः॥७॥

अष्टभ्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च लिखित्वा यः समर्पयेत्। तस्य विद्या भवेत्सर्वा गणेशस्य प्रसादतः॥८॥

Meaning & Translation

Verse 1
Bowing down with head, to the God Vinayaka, the son of Gauri, who resides in the hearts of devotees, I remember Him daily for longevity, fulfillment of desires, and success in endeavors.
Verse 2
First (He is known as) Vakratunda (one with a curved trunk), second as Ekadanta (one-tusked), third as Krishnapingaksha (black and brown-eyed), fourth as Gajavaktra (elephant-faced).
Verse 3
Fifth (He is known as) Lambodara (pot-bellied), sixth as Vikata (the formidable), seventh as Vighnarajendra (king of obstacles' removers), and eighth as Dhoomravarna (smoke-colored).
Verse 4
Ninth (He is known as) Bhalachandra (moon-crested), tenth as Vinayaka (the supreme leader), eleventh as Ganapati (lord of the Ganas), and twelfth as Gajanana (elephant-faced).
Verse 5
The person who recites these twelve names three times a day (morning, noon, evening) experiences no fear of obstacles; this grants supreme accomplishments.
Verse 6
A student obtains knowledge, a wealth-seeker obtains wealth, a child-seeker obtains children, and a salvation-seeker obtains liberation.

One who chants this Ganapati Stotram obtains results in six months. In one year, one attains perfection; there is no doubt about this.
