All this universe is born from you. All this universe is sustained by you. All this universe merges into you. All this universe returns to you. You are earth, water, fire, air, and sky. You are the four forms of speech (Para, Pashyanti, Madhyama, Vaikhari).
Verse 6
You are beyond the three Gunas (Sattva, Rajas, Tamas). You are beyond the three bodies (gross, subtle, causal). You are beyond the three times (past, present, future). You are eternally seated in the Muladhara Chakra. You are the three powers (Ichha, Jnana, Kriya - Will, Knowledge, Action). Yogis meditate on you eternally. Who is red in complexion, has a large belly, ears like winnowing fans, and wears red garments. Whose body is smeared with red fragrance and who is well-worshipped with red flowers. Who is compassionate to his devotees, the imperishable cause of the universe, who appeared at the beginning of creation, beyond Prakriti and Purusha.
Verse 10
One who meditates thus daily, that Yogi is the best among Yogis.
Verse 11
Salutations to the Lord of the hosts (Vratapati), Salutations to Ganapati. Salutations to the Lord of the Ganas (Pramathapati). Salutations to the one with a large belly, the one-tusked, the destroyer of obstacles, the son of Shiva, the grantor of boons. Salutations again and again.
