I bow to Vishnu, who is of peaceful repose, reclining on the serpent (Ananta), with a lotus emanating from His navel, the Lord of the Devas, the support of the universe, all-pervading like the sky, of the color of a cloud, with beautiful limbs. The beloved of Lakshmi, with eyes like lotuses, accessible to Yogis through meditation, the dispeller of the fear of worldly existence, the one Lord of all worlds.
