द्वादशैतानि नामानि त्रिसंध्यं यः पठेन्नरः।न च विघ्नभयं तस्य सर्वसिद्धिकरं परम्॥५॥

विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां धनार्थी लभते धनम्।पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान्मोक्षार्थी लभते गतिम्॥६॥

जपेत् गणपतिस्तोत्रं षड्भिर्मासैः फलम् लभेत्।संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशयः॥७॥

अष्टभ्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च लिखित्वा यः समर्पयेत्।तस्य विद्या भवेत्सर्वा गणेशस्य प्रसादतः॥८॥

Meaning & Translation

Verse 1
Bowing my head to the God, Gauri's son, Vinayaka, I always remember Him, the abode of devotees, for the attainment of long life, desires, and wealth.
Verse 2
First, the one with a curved trunk (Vakratunda); second, the one with a single tusk (Ekadanta); third, the one with dark reddish-brown eyes (Krishnapingaksha); fourth, the one with an elephant face (Gajavaktra).
Verse 3
Fifth, the one with a large belly (Lambodara); sixth, the formidable one (Vikata); seventh, the king of obstacles (Vighnarajendra); and eighth, the smoke-colored one (Dhumravarna).
Verse 4
Ninth, the one with the moon on his forehead (Bhalachandra); tenth, Vinayaka; eleventh, Ganapati; and twelfth, Gajanana (elephant-faced one).
Verse 5
The person who recites these twelve names three times a day (morning, noon, and evening) will never face fear of obstacles; it grants all supreme accomplishments.

A student attains knowledge, a seeker of wealth attains riches, a seeker of sons attains sons, and a seeker of liberation attains salvation.
