Verse 1
Narada said: Bowing down to the revered Gauri's son, Vinayaka, who resides in the hearts of devotees, one should remember Him daily for the fulfillment of desires, longevity, and wealth.
Verse 2
First, Vakratunda (the one with a twisted trunk); second, Ekadanta (the one with one tusk); third, Kṛṣṇapiṅgākṣa (the one with dark and tawny eyes); fourth, Gajavaktra (the elephant-faced one).
Verse 3
Fifth, Lambodara (the one with a pot belly); and sixth, Vikaṭa (the formidable one); seventh, Vighnarājendra (the king of obstacles); and eighth, Dhūmravarṇa (the smoke-colored one).
Verse 4
Ninth, Bhālachandra (the one with a moon on his forehead); and tenth, Vinayaka; eleventh, Ganapati; and twelfth, Gajānana (the elephant-faced one).
Verse 5
O Lord, the person who recites these twelve names thrice a day (morning, noon, evening), will have no fear of obstacles; all his endeavors will be accomplished.

One who seeks knowledge attains knowledge; one who seeks wealth attains wealth; one who seeks sons attains sons; one who seeks liberation attains salvation.
