Meaning & Translation

Verse 1

One should meditate on Vishnu, who wears white clothes, is radiant like the moon, has four arms, and a cheerful face, for the removal of all obstacles.

Verse 2

We meditate upon the peaceful Lord, who reclines on the serpent (Shesha), from whose navel springs the lotus, who is the Lord of the gods, the support of the universe, like the sky, of the color of a cloud, and possessing an auspicious body.

Verse 3

He is the beloved of Lakshmi, whose eyes are like lotuses, who is realized by yogis through meditation. I bow to Vishnu, who removes the fear of worldly existence and is the one Lord of all worlds.
