Meaning & Translation

Verse 1
I salute Vishnu, who is of the nature of peace, who rests on the serpent, whose navel is a lotus, the Lord of the gods. He is the support of the universe, pervasive like the sky, with the complexion of a cloud, and auspicious limbs. He is the beloved of Lakshmi, with lotus-like eyes, approachable by yogis through meditation. I bow to Vishnu, the remover of the fear of worldly existence, the one Lord of all worlds.

Verse 4
Salutations to you, O Lord of lords! Salutations to you, O Krishna, O Keshava! Salutations to you, O supporter of the Earth! Salutations to you, O Lord of the universe!
