Meaning & Translation
Verse 1
Perform Aarti of Hanuman, the beloved son, the destroyer of evil, the manifestation of Raghunath's divine power.
Verse 2
By whose strength, mountains tremble, diseases, faults, and ignorance do not approach.
Verse 3
Son of Anjani, giver of immense strength, O Lord, always the helper of saints.
Verse 4
Sent by Raghunath as a brave warrior, he burnt Lanka and brought news of Sita.
Verse 5
Lanka with its fortresses and ocean moat, the Son of Vayu crossed without delay.
Verse 6
He burnt Lanka, destroyed demons, and accomplished the tasks of Sita and Ram.
Verse 7
When Lakshman fell unconscious, he brought Sanjeevani to save his life.
Verse 8
He entered Patal, breaking the Yama's barriers, and uprooted Ahiravan's arms.
Verse 9
With his left arm, he destroyed armies of demons; with his right arm, he protected the saints.

Gods, humans, and sages perform his Aarti, chanting "Victory, victory, victory to Hanuman!"

With a golden plate and camphor lamp, Mother Anjani performs his Aarti.
