ରୋଗ୍ ଦୋଷ ଜାକେ ନିକଟ୍ ନ ଝାଂକେ ||

ଅଂଜନୀ ପୁତ୍ର ମହାବଲଦାୟୀ |

ସଂତନ କେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦା ସହାୟୀ ||

ଦେ ବୀରା ରଘୁନାଥ ପଠାଏ |

ଲଂକା ଜାରୀ ସୀୟା ସୁଧି ଲାଏ ||

Meaning & Translation

Verse 1
Perform the Aarti of dear Lord Hanuman!
Verse 2
Who crushed the wicked and is an art of Raghunath (Lord Rama).
Verse 3
By whose strength the great mountains tremble,
Verse 4
Diseases and faults do not even peek near him.
Verse 5
Son of Anjani, the giver of immense strength,
Verse 6
The Lord is always a helper to the saints.
Verse 7
When the brave one was sent by Raghunath (Rama),
Verse 8
He burnt Lanka and brought news of Sita.
Verse 9
Lanka, which was a fortress surrounded by the ocean,
Verse 10
The son of the Wind (Hanuman) crossed it without delay.
Verse 11
He burnt Lanka and annihilated the demons,
Verse 12
And accomplished the work of Sita and Lord Rama.
Verse 13
When Lakshman fell unconscious in the morning,
Verse 14
He brought Sanjeevani (herb) and saved his life.
Verse 15
He entered Patal (underworld), broke the abode of Yama (god of death),
Verse 16
And uprooted the arms of Ahiravan.
Verse 17
With his left arm, he killed hordes of demons,
Verse 18
With his right arm, he saved the saintly people.
Verse 19
Gods, humans, and sages perform his Aarti,
Verse 20
Victory, victory, victory to Hanuman, the redeemer!
Verse 21
With a golden plate and a camphor lampwick,
Verse 22
Mother Anjani performs the Aarti.
Verse 23
Whoever sings this Aarti of Hanuman,
Verse 24
Resides in Vaikunth and attains the supreme state.
