एकदन्तं महाकायं लंबोदरं गजाननम्। विघ्ननाशकरं देवं हेरम्बं प्रणमाम्यहम्॥
Meaning & Translation
Verse 1
O Lord with a curved trunk, a mighty body, and the radiance of a million suns, please make all my endeavors free from obstacles, always.
Verse 2
I bow to the lotus feet of Lord Ganesha, who has an elephant face, is worshipped by Shiva's attendants, who partakes of the essence of Kapittha and Jambu fruits, who is the son of Uma, and the destroyer of sorrow.
Verse 3
O He who has a mouse as a vehicle, holds a modak in hand, has ears like a whisk, and a dangling sacred thread. O pot-bellied one with winnowing basket ears, O destroyer of obstacles, O Heramba, son of the Divine Mother.
Verse 4
I bow to Lord Heramba, who has one tusk, a mighty body, a pot belly, an elephant face, and is the destroyer of obstacles.
