Verse 0
Victory to Ganesha, son of Girija (Parvati), the auspicious and wise one. Ayodhya Das says, grant the boon of fearlessness.
Verse 1
Hail to the Lord of Girija (Parvati), the compassionate to the poor. You always protect the saints.
Verse 2
The moon on your forehead looks beautiful. Your earrings are made of serpent hoods.
Verse 3
Your body is fair, the Ganges flows from your head. You wear a garland of skulls and apply ash to your body.
Verse 4
Your garment is a tiger skin, beautiful around your neck is a garland of deer hide.
Verse 5
Save us, save us, remove our sorrows and difficulties. Lift us from the ocean of worldly suffering.
Verse 6
O Shiva, Shambhu, Shankara, Mahadeva, destroy all suffering. Hail to Shiva!
Verse 7
From your matted locks flows the divine river (Ganga). In your hand is a trident, and you wear a garland of skulls.
Verse 8
You ride a white bull, O Keshava (Vishnu's form), O Sadaashiva, beloved of devotees.
Verse 9
You playfully drank the deadly poison. You reside on Mount Kailash.

On your left side is Janakadi Durganandini (Parvati), beautifully adorned.

With a thousand lotuses, devotees worship you. You are the king who delights the mind.

The sound of your conch is fierce and deep. Gods and demons bow their heads to you.

The damaru in your hand plays 'dam dam'. The serpent's hood adorns your neck beautifully.

You are beyond the three Gunas, the benevolent doer. You alleviate the sufferings of the poor.

O Shiva, Shankara, Shambho! For the welfare of your devotees, you assume various forms.

Brahma and Vishnu meditate on you daily. They attain the eternal abode of Sadashiva.

You sport with ashes on your body. Witnessing your glory is impossible and beautiful.

You are the protector and creator of the universe. O God of Gods, Mahadeva, the sustainer.

You are the Lord who conquers untimely death. You have five faces and ten arms, granting auspiciousness.

Ghosts and evil spirits that come near, flee instantly upon chanting your name.

Chant, chant O Innocent Shambho, Bhavani (with Parvati). Meditate, meditate on Shiva Shankara.

You hold the trident, O Lord of the Himalayas (Himavaan). You burnt Kama (desire) and bestow happiness and welfare.

You alleviate the troubles of devotees and grant happiness. O Destroyer of Tripura, trident-wielder, Lord!

Dweller of cremation grounds, sky-clad, with matted locks. You wear a serpent garland and hold the Ganga on your head.

You grant purity to the soul, O supreme Lord, husband of Parvati.
