तुम ही ब्रह्मा, तुम ही शिव हो। तुम ही वेद, पुराण, जीव हो॥

तुम ही सृष्टि रचैता जग के। तुम ही पावन धाता सब के॥

तुम ही जगत के पालनकर्ता। तुम ही नाश विपति के हरता॥

शेषनाग की शैया पर सोवे। सागर मंथन से सुख पावे॥

जल में रहते कमल फूल पर। लक्ष्मीजी बैठीं सुख मूल पर॥

गरूण सवारी तुम करते हो। सारे दु:ख-संताप हरते हो॥

चक्र सुदर्शन अति बलशाली। दुष्ट दलन करता है काली॥

शंख चक्र गदा पद्म धारी। प्रभु अवतार लेवत हितकारी॥

मीन कच्छप वराह स्वरूपा। नरसिंह रूप भयो अति अनूपा॥

वामन अवतार ले तुम आये। बाली को छल पाताल पठाये॥

परशुराम, श्री राम कहाये। दशरथ पुत्र बन दुष्ट नशाये॥

कृष्ण रूप ले तुम अवतरे। कौरव वंश का संहार करे॥

बुद्ध रूप में तुम ही आये। अहिंसा का पाठ सिखलाये॥

कल्कि रूप ले तुम आओगे। दुष्टों का संहार कराओगे॥

देव असुर सब तुमको ध्यावें। भक्ति भाव से फल को पावें॥

जो कोई नर तुमको चित्त लावे। सो प्राणी निज सुख को पावे॥

मन वांछित फल पावत सोई। दुख दरिद्र संकट नहिं होई॥

भव सागर से पार उतारो। दुःखियों के तुम दुःख निवाराे॥

दीन दुःखी जब करे पुकारा। तब तुम आये देव संहारा॥

मनसा वाचा कर्मणा ध्यावे। भव बंधन से मुक्ति पावे॥

जो जन तुम पर श्रद्धा राखे। उनकी तुम सब कामनाएं बाखे॥

नाम तुम्हारा जो नर गावे। रोग-दोष वह दूर भगावे॥

धन-धान्य भरे घर द्वारे। सुख समृद्धि के तुम रखवारे॥

काम क्रोध मद लोभ मिटावे। संत जन के तुम मन भावे॥

सब संसार की रक्षा करते। जन जन के मन को तुम भरते॥

भक्त वत्सलता तुम दिखलाते। अपने जन को गले लगाते॥

भव भय मिटाकर मुक्ति देते। मोक्ष धाम को प्राणी ले जाते॥

You embody the pervasive form of the universe, Salutations to You, O Lord.

Glory, glory, glory to Lord Vishnu! Glory, glory, glory to the virtues of the consort of Lakshmi!
Verse 5
O indestructible Lord, You are the sustainer of all. You know everyone's share of joy and sorrow.
Verse 6
Your four-armed form is extremely pleasing to the mind. A mere auspicious sight of You destroys sins.
Verse 7
You are Brahma, You are Shiva. You are the Vedas, Puranas, and all living beings.
Verse 8
You are the creator of the world. You are the sacred maintainer of all.
Verse 9
You are the preserver of the universe. You are the remover of all calamities.
Verse 10
You rest on the bed of Sheshnag. You attained bliss from the churning of the ocean.

You reside on a lotus flower in the water. Goddess Lakshmi is seated upon the source of all happiness.

You ride upon Garuda. You remove all sorrows and afflictions.

Your Sudarshan Chakra is exceedingly powerful. It crushes the wicked instantly.

You hold the conch, discus, mace, and lotus. O Lord, You take beneficial incarnations.

You took the forms of fish, tortoise, and boar. Your Narasimha form was exceedingly unique.

You came in the form of Vamana. You tricked Bali and sent him to the netherworld.

You were called Parshuram, and then Shri Rama. Becoming Dasharatha's son, You destroyed the wicked.

You incarnated as Krishna. You annihilated the Kuru dynasty.

You came in the form of Buddha. You taught the lesson of non-violence.

You will come in the form of Kalki. You will cause the destruction of the wicked.

Gods and demons all meditate on You. With devotion, they attain their desired results.

Any person who brings You to their mind. That being attains their own happiness.

They attain their heart's desired fruits. No sorrow, poverty, or crisis befalls them.

You ferry across the ocean of existence. You remove the sorrows of the distressed.

When the poor and suffering cry out. Then You come, O Destroyer of evil.

Those who meditate with mind, speech, and action. They attain liberation from worldly bonds.

Those who keep faith in You. You fulfill all their desires.

Wealth and grain fill their homes. You are the protector of happiness and prosperity.

Any person who desires knowledge and wisdom. That person surely attains respect.

Whoever reads or recites this Chalisa. They attain the eight siddhis and nine nidhis (treasures).
