अस्य श्रीपञ्चमुखहनुमत्कवचमन्त्रस्य श्रीरामचन्द्र ऋषिः, श्रीपञ्चमुखहनुमान् देवता, अनुष्टुप् छन्दः, हं बीजं, श्रीं शक्तिः, क्रौं कीलकं, क्रूं कवचम्, फट् अस्त्रं, मम सकलमनोवाञ्छितसिद्ध्यर्थे जपे विनियोगः ॥

पञ्चवक्त्रं महाभीमं त्रिपञ्चनयनैर्युतम् । चतुर्भुजं वज्रकायं भक्तानामिष्टदम् ॥

पूर्वदिशि मुखं पातु मारुतिर्मे महाबलः । आग्नेय्यां गरुडवक्त्रं रक्षोघ्नं सर्वदा मम ॥

दक्षिणे नृसिंहवक्त्रं महाभीष्मं भयापहम् । नैर्ऋत्यां तु वराहस्य वक्त्रं पातु निरन्तरम् ॥

पश्चिमे तु हयास्यं मे सर्वशत्रुविनाशनम् । वायव्ये नरवक्त्रं मे सर्वदा शत्रुभेदनम् ॥

उत्तरस्यां कपिवक्त्रं पातु मां सर्वदा शुभम् । ईशान्यां हनुमन्तं मे सर्वाभीष्टफलप्रदम् ॥

ऊर्ध्वे च ऊर्ध्ववक्त्रं मे पातु सर्वविषापहम् । अधस्तात्पातु मां नित्यं पातालस्थो महाबलः ॥

वामे पातु महाविष्णुर्दक्षिणे ब्रह्मविद्यया । पृष्ठतो रामरूपो मे पुरतो लक्ष्मणानुजः ॥

बाह्यतः पातु मे नित्यं अष्टसिद्धिफलप्रदः । अन्तः पातु महायोगी हनुमान् सर्वदैव हि ॥

नखाग्रं पातु मे वज्रं सर्वाङ्गमपि रक्षतु । पञ्चवक्त्रहनुमतः कवचमिदमुत्तमम् ॥

भूतप्रेतपिशाचादि डाकिनीशाकिनी तथा । ज्वररोगभयं चैव शत्रुभयं नाशयत्यलम् ॥

यः पठेत्प्रातरुत्थाय कवचं प्रयतश्च यः । तस्य सर्वाणि कार्याणि सिद्ध्यन्ति नात्र संशयः ॥

For this sacred mantra of Sri Panchamukha Hanumat Kavacham, Sri Ramachandra is the Rishi, Sri Panchamukha Hanuman is the deity, Anushtubh is the meter, Ham is the seed mantra, Shrim is the power, Kraum is the pivot, Krum is the armor, Phat is the weapon, and it is chanted to achieve all desired results.

I meditate on the five-faced, exceedingly fierce form, endowed with fifteen eyes (three eyes on each of the five faces), having four arms, a body like a thunderbolt, and granting the desires of devotees.

In the East, may the powerful Maruthi (Hanuman's own face) protect me. In the Southeast (Agneya), may the Garuda face, the destroyer of demons, always protect me.

In the South, may the Narasimha face, exceedingly terrifying and dispelling fear, protect me. In the Southwest (Nairruti), may the Varaha (boar) face always protect me.

In the West, may the Hayagriva face, the destroyer of all enemies, protect me. In the Northwest (Vayavya), may the human-like face (often interpreted as Hanuman's own, or another specific form) always shatter my enemies.

On my left, may Mahavishnu protect me; on my right, by the knowledge of Brahman. Behind me, may the form of Rama protect me; in front of me, may the younger brother of Lakshmana (Hanuman himself) protect me.

Externally, may the bestower of the eight siddhis (supernatural powers) always protect me. Internally, may the great yogi Hanuman always protect me.

May the tips of my nails be protected by Vajra (thunderbolt-like strength), and may all my limbs also be protected. This supreme Kavach is of the five-faced Hanuman.
Verse 15
Ghosts, spirits, ghouls, witches (Dakini, Shakini), as well as fever, diseases, and fear from enemies, are utterly destroyed (by this Kavach).
