Verse 1

Cleaning the mirror of my mind with the dust of my Guru's lotus feet,

I narrate the pure glory of Shri Raghuvar (Lord Rama), which bestows the four fruits of life (Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha).

Knowing this body to be devoid of intelligence, I meditate upon Pavanakumar (Hanuman),

Grant me strength, wisdom, and knowledge, and remove my afflictions and impurities.

Victory to Hanuman, ocean of wisdom and virtues! Victory to the Lord of Monkeys, who illuminates the three worlds!
