ହାତ ବଜ୍ର ଆଉ ଧ୍ୱଜା ବିରାଜେ । କାନ୍ଧେ ମୂଞ୍ଜ ଜନେଊ ସାଜେ ॥

ଶଙ୍କର ସୁବନ କେଶରୀ ନନ୍ଦନ । ତେଜ ପ୍ରତାପ ମହା ଜଗ ବନ୍ଦନ ॥

ବିଦ୍ୟାବାନ ଗୁଣୀ ଅତି ଚାତୁର । ରାମ କାଜ କରିବେ କୋ ଆତୁର ॥

ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ରୂପ ଧରି ସିୟହିଁ ଦିଖାବା । ବିକଟ ରୂପ ଧରି ଲଙ୍କ ଜରାବା ॥

ଭୀମ ରୂପ ଧରି ଅସୁର ସଂହାରେ । ରାମଚନ୍ଦ୍ର କେ କାଜ ସଁଵାରେ ॥

ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମଣ ଶକ୍ତି ଲାଗି ପ୍ରାଣ ହରଷିଲେ । ସଞ୍ଜୀବନୀ ଆଣି ପ୍ରାଣ ବଞ୍ଚାଇଲେ ॥

ରଘୁପତି ପ୍ରଶଂସା କଲେ ବହୁତ । ତୁମ ପ୍ରିୟ ଭାରତ ସମ ଭ୍ରାତ ॥

ସହସ୍ର ବଦନ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଯଶ ଗାଇ । ଏହିପରି ଶ୍ରୀପତି କଣ୍ଠ ଲଗାଇ ॥

ସନକାଦିକ ବ୍ରହ୍ମାଦି ମୁନିଶା । ନାରଦ ଶାରଦ ସହିତ ଅହିଶା ॥

ଯମ କୁବେର ଦିଗପାଳ ଯେଉଁଠି । କବି କୋବିଦ କହି ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ ॥

ତୁମେ ଉପକାର ସୁଗ୍ରୀବଙ୍କୁ କଲ । ରାମ ମିଳାଇ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଦିଆଇଲ ॥

ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଭୀଷଣ ମନ୍ତ୍ର ମାନିଲା । ଲଙ୍କେଶ୍ୱର ଭଇ ସବୁ ଜଗତ ଜାଣିଲା ॥

ଯୁଗ ସହସ୍ର ଯୋଜନ ପର ଭାନୁ । ଲୀଲ୍ୟୋ ତାହି ମଧୁର ଫଳ ଜାନୁ ॥

ପ୍ରଭୁ ମୁଦ୍ରିକା ମେଳି ମୁଖ ମାହିଁ । ଜଳଧି ଲଂଘି ଗଲ ଅଚମ୍ବେ ନାହିଁ ॥

ଦୁର୍ଗମ କାଜ ଜଗତ କେ ଜେତେ । ସୁଗମ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ତୁମ୍ଭର ତେତେ ॥

ରାମ ଦୁଆରେ ତୁମେ ରକ୍ଷକ । କାହାରି ଆଜ୍ଞା ବିନା ନ ପଶେ ଲୋକ ॥

ସବ ସୁଖ ଲହଇ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶରଣ । ତୁମେ ରକ୍ଷକ କାହାରି ଡର ନାହିଁ ॥

ଆପଣ ତେଜ ସମ୍ଭାଳୋ ଆପେ । ତିନି ଲୋକ ହାଙ୍କିଲେ କାମ୍ପେ ॥

ଭୂତ ପିଶାଚ ନିକଟ ନ ଆସେ । ମହାବୀର ଜବ ନାମ ସୁନାସେ ॥

ନାଶେ ରୋଗ ହରେ ସବୁ ପୀଡ଼ା । ଜପତ ନିରନ୍ତର ହନୁମତ ବୀରା ॥

ସଙ୍କଟ ତେ ହନୁମାନ ଛଡ଼ାବେ । ମନ କ୍ରମ ବଚନ ଧ୍ୟାନ ଜୋ ଲାବେ ॥

ସବ ଉପର ତପସ୍ୱୀ ରାଜା । ତିନ ଲୋକ ପୂଜା କରିବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ॥

ଆଉର ମନୋରଥ ଜୋ କୋଇ ଲାବେ । ତାସୁ ଅମିତ ଜୀବନ ଫଳ ପାବେ ॥

Meaning & Translation

Verse 0
Having cleansed the mirror of my mind with the dust of my Guru’s lotus feet, I narrate the pure glory of Lord Rama, which bestows the four fruits of life (Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha).

Knowing myself to be devoid of intelligence, I meditate upon you, O Son of Wind (Hanuman). Grant me strength, wisdom, and knowledge, and remove all my afflictions and impurities.
Verse 1
Victory to Hanuman, ocean of wisdom and virtues. Victory to the Lord of Monkeys, who illuminates the three worlds.
Verse 2
You are Rama's messenger, the abode of immeasurable strength. You are Anjani's son, known as the Son of the Wind.
Verse 3
Great hero, valorous, with a body as strong as a thunderbolt (vajra). You dispel evil thoughts and are a companion of good sense.
Verse 4
Your complexion is golden, you are splendidly dressed. You wear earrings in your ears and have curly hair.
Verse 5
In your hands shine the mace (vajra) and banner. A sacred thread (janeoo) adorns your shoulder.
Verse 6
You are an incarnation of Shiva, the son of Kesari. Your valor and glory are revered throughout the world.

You are learned, virtuous, and extremely clever. You are always eager to accomplish Lord Rama's tasks.

You delight in listening to the glories of the Lord. Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita reside in your heart.

Assuming a tiny form, you appeared before Sita. Taking a formidable form, you burned Lanka.

Assuming a gigantic form, you slew the demons. Thus, you accomplished the tasks of Lord Rama.

When Lakshmana was struck by the shakti arrow, you brought the Sanjeevani herb and saved his life.

Lord Rama praised you greatly, saying, 'You are as dear to me as my brother Bharat.'

May the thousand-headed Sheshnag sing your glory. Saying this, Lord Rama embraced you.

The sages like Sanak, Brahma, the great saints, Narada, Saraswati, and Sheshnag (king of serpents).

Yama (god of death), Kubera (god of wealth), and the guardians of the directions – even poets and scholars cannot describe your full glory.

You rendered a great service to Sugriva. You united him with Rama and helped him regain his kingdom.

Vibhishana heeded your advice. He became the king of Lanka; the whole world knows this.

Though the sun is thousands of miles away, you swallowed it, mistaking it for a sweet fruit.

Placing Lord Rama's ring in your mouth, you crossed the ocean, which was no surprise.

All difficult tasks in the world become easy by your grace.

You are the guardian at Rama's door. No one can enter without your permission.

All joys are found by taking refuge in you. When you are the protector, there is nothing to fear.
