Verse 1
Salutations to Lord Hanuman.
Verse 2
I bow to Lord Hanuman, the abode of immeasurable strength, whose body shines like a golden mountain. He is the fire that consumes the forest of demons, foremost among the wise, the treasure of all virtues, the lord of monkeys, the beloved devotee of Lord Rama, and the son of the wind god.
Verse 3
I bow to the son of the Wind God, who made the vast ocean appear like a cow's hoof print, who reduced mighty demons to mere mosquitoes, and who is the jewel in the great garland of the Ramayana.
Verse 4
Wherever the glories of Lord Rama are sung, there with head bowed in reverence and eyes full of tears of devotion, stands Maruti (Hanuman), the destroyer of demons. I bow to him.

Cleaning the mirror of my mind with the dust of my Guru's lotus feet, I narrate the pure glory of Lord Rama, which bestows the four fruits of life (Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha).
