Shiva Shankar, the innocent Lord, O merciful God,

I have come to your refuge, please grant me service (blessings/devotion).

Innocent is your name, an ocean of grace,

You remove the devotees' sufferings, you are the ocean of happiness.

The damaru drums 'dam dam', a trident is in your hand,

A garland of snakes adorns you, ash is on your body.

Ganga shines in your matted hair, the moon is on your forehead,

You reside with Parvati, in the abode of Kailash.

Your form is Neelkanth (blue-throated), you bless the well-being of the world,
